This agreement is concluded between INFORING MEDIA OÜ (hereinafter referred to as – “Seller”) and the Client (who meets the definition of a consumer in the sense of the Consumer Protection Act of the Republic of Estonia), who makes a purchase from the online store at: www.kniga24.ee, www.bookvoed.ee, www.bookvoed.eu (hereinafter – “Website” or “Online Store”), which belongs to INFORING MEDIA OÜ.
1. General Provisions
1.1. These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the Terms) apply to legal relations arising between the customer (hereinafter referred to as the Buyer) of the online stores kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu and the owner of these online stores, the company INFORING MEDIA OÜ (hereinafter referred to as the Seller), when purchasing goods from the aforementioned online stores. The Terms set out the rights and obligations of the Seller and the Buyer, liability, terms of purchase and payment for goods, delivery and complaint procedures, and contain general information about the services offered by the Seller. 1.2. The Seller reserves the right to change or supplement these terms and conditions without prior notice. Changes will be announced on the websites kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu and will take effect from the moment of their publication on the said websites. If an order has been placed before the entry into force of changes to the purchase terms, the terms valid at the time of placing the order shall apply to the transaction, unless otherwise provided by law or these Terms. 1.3. The Seller is not responsible for damages incurred due to the Buyer not having familiarized themselves with these Terms. 1.4. Legal relations arising from the purchase of goods from the online store kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu are regulated by the legislation of the Republic of Estonia in addition to these Terms.
2. Client Data and Data Protection
2.1. Personal data submitted by the Buyer to the Seller will be processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. Data may be transferred to third parties only with the Buyer’s consent or in cases provided by law. 2.2. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that their registration data (email address and password) do not become known to third parties. The Seller is not responsible for the consequences if the Buyer’s registration data has fallen into the hands of third parties due to the Buyer’s fault. 2.3. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided by them. The Seller is not responsible for the consequences resulting from the Buyer providing inaccurate data. 2.4. The Buyer undertakes to update their personal data on the websites kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu if the data provided during registration is no longer valid. The Seller is not responsible for consequences related to the outdated or inaccurate data provided by the Buyer. 2.5. If the Buyer attempts, through their actions or inactions, to sabotage or disrupt the operation of the online stores kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu or otherwise negatively affect it, the Seller has the right to immediately and without prior notice restrict or terminate the client’s access to the site and refuse further service.
3. Goods Availability, Price and Information Accuracy
3.1. All prices on the websites kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu are shown inclusive of VAT. 3.2. The Seller is not responsible for the accuracy of product descriptions and photos. This information comes from suppliers and/or manufacturers, and the Seller has no opportunity to verify this information in every individual case. Prices and product information on the websites kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu may change. Changes take effect at the moment of their publication on the websites. 3.3. The availability and price of goods on the websites may change. Changes take effect at the moment of their publication on the said sites. 3.4. When placing an order, pay attention to whether a handling fee has been added to the specific order. The Seller reserves the right to apply a handling fee to any goods and/or order. If a handling fee is applied to a product, it will be displayed separately during the checkout process.
4. Placing an Order
4.1. To add an item to your shopping cart, use the “Add to Cart” button next to the product name. 4.2. When you are ready to place an order, go to the shopping cart and check the selected items and their quantities to avoid errors. If necessary, you can change the quantity or remove a product from the shopping cart. You can also put a product on hold for future purchase. 4.3. Pay attention to the availability of the item in the product information: the item may be “in stock” or “on order”. The “on order” status means a longer delivery time. If an order contains both in-stock and on-order products, the entire order will be delayed until the on-order product arrives. We recommend ordering in-stock and on-order products as separate orders. We are unable to add items to an already created order or move products between orders. 4.4. When placing the first order, you must authorize on the site: use existing account data or register. For subsequent orders, you will be offered a choice of delivery methods: pick-up points (INFORING MEDIA OÜ offices), SmartPost or OMNIVA parcel lockers. 4.5. If a book of interest is temporarily out of stock, you can order a notification of its arrival. 4.6. The online store uses a dynamic pricing system, which depends on many factors and is technical in nature. The price of a product may change over time depending on market supply, supplier availability, and other criteria. Prices may fluctuate up and down during the day.
5. Payment Methods
5.1. Bank link: Swedbank, SEB Pank. Upon confirming the order, an invoice will be displayed on the screen. To pay with a bank link, you must click on the corresponding icon. After making the payment on the bank’s page, you must definitely click the “Back to merchant” button. Only then will your order be correctly reflected in our database. After payment, you will receive a confirmation and an invoice to your email address. If confirmation does not arrive within an hour, please contact info@bookvoed.ee.
The invoice presented to the client will indicate all necessary details and taxes. If the money is not received in the supplier’s account within 3 business days, the order will be cancelled.
6. Goods Delivery
6.1. Delivery time depends on the location of the goods and the delivery address. Assembly at INFORING MEDIA OÜ warehouse in Estonia takes an average of one week from the receipt of payment, provided the goods are available from partners. After that, the order is handed over to the courier service. Delivery within Estonia to parcel lockers (SmartPost, OMNIVA) takes time according to the terms of these service providers, on average 1–3 days. 6.2. Delivery to pick-up points takes 8–15 days from payment. You will receive a notification of the goods’ arrival by email from us or SmartPost/OMNIVA. 6.3. Packages can be picked up from INFORING MEDIA OÜ offices on weekdays from 10:00 to 16:00 after receiving an arrival notification and presenting an invoice proving payment. 6.4. Delivery time and availability are indicated for the first copy. If the required quantity (multiple copies of the same product) is not in stock, the order will be shipped immediately after the missing quantity arrives from suppliers. 6.5. The Seller is not responsible for possible delays in the delivery of goods or for damages resulting therefrom.
7. Conclusion of Contract
7.1. The purchase and sale agreement between the Buyer and the Seller is considered concluded from the moment the Buyer makes the first payment for the goods to the Seller’s bank account.
8. Withdrawal from Purchase and Return of Goods
8.1. In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Estonia, a private consumer has the right to withdraw from a purchase and sale agreement within 14 days from receiving the goods. 8.2. Only unused goods are eligible for return. The goods must be in their original packaging and all factory labels must be preserved. The packaging may only be opened if it would not have been possible to inspect the goods otherwise. 8.3. Withdrawal from the contract is not possible for goods manufactured considering the Buyer’s specific personal needs, nor for audio and video recordings if the packaging has been opened and/or the product has been activated, nor for newspapers, magazines, and other periodicals. 8.4. If the Buyer wishes to withdraw from the contract, they undertake to immediately (within 14 calendar days from receipt) notify the Seller at info@bookvoed.ee, attaching a photo of the goods or packaging to the letter. The Seller reserves the right to request additional photos. 8.5. The Buyer agrees to bear the costs associated with returning the goods, unless the delivered goods do not match the order. 8.6. Upon termination of the contract, the goods must be returned to the Seller immediately (within 30 calendar days). 8.7. When returning goods, the Seller offers the option to exchange them for another product with a recalculation of the price. 8.8. If the Buyer does not wish an exchange, the Seller undertakes to refund the amount paid for the goods to the Buyer’s bank account within 30 days. The refund will only be made to the same account from which the payment was made. 8.9. The Buyer accepts the possibility that in case of abuse of the right of withdrawal, the Seller has the right to refuse further service to the Buyer.
9. Cookies
9.1. Cookies are used to create the shopping cart and to track website visits. To enter the online store, the Client must register. Personal data may be requested when ordering. The company has the right to use the submitted data in accordance with the law. 9.2. Data subject’s consent is required if cookies are used to create the shopping cart for products selected by the Buyer, etc. 9.3. Personal data is not stored using cookies. 9.4. When integrating settings, information is not transmitted to third parties.
10. Resolution of Disputes
10.1. Disputes between the Buyer and the Seller shall be resolved through negotiations. If an agreement is not reached, the parties have the right to turn to the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority or a court. The laws of the Republic of Estonia apply. 10.2. All goods are located in an external warehouse and delivery dates are approximate.
