This agreement is concluded between INFORING MEDIA OÜ (hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”) and the Client (who meets the definition of a consumer, as per the law of the Republic of Estonia “On Consumer Protection”), who purchases goods in the online store at: www.kniga24.ee, www.bookvoed.ee, www.bookvoed.eu (hereinafter referred to as the “Website” or “Online Store”), owned by INFORING MEDIA OÜ.
1. General Provisions
1.1. These terms (hereinafter referred to as the Terms) apply to the legal relations arising between the client (hereinafter referred to as the Buyer) of the online stores kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu and the owner of these online stores, the company INFORING MEDIA OÜ (hereinafter referred to as the Seller), when purchasing goods at kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu. These terms establish the rights and obligations of the Seller and the Buyer, responsibility, conditions for the acquisition and payment of goods, the procedure for delivery and filing claims, and also contain general information about the services offered by the Seller.
1.2. The Seller reserves the right to make changes or additions to these terms without prior notice. Changes are announced on the websites kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu and come into force from the moment of their publication on the websites kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu. If an order is placed before the changes to the purchase terms come into force, the terms valid at the time of placing the order apply to the transaction, unless otherwise specified by law or these Terms.
1.3. The Seller is not responsible for damages arising from the Buyer’s failure to familiarize themselves with these Terms.
1.4. Legal relations arising from the purchase of goods in the online store kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu are regulated, in addition to these Terms, by legal acts in force in the Republic of Estonia.
2. Client Data and Data Protection
2.1. Personal data provided by the Buyer to the Seller is processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Data may only be transferred to third parties with the Buyer’s consent or in cases provided for by law.
2.2. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that their registration data (email address and password) do not become known to third parties. The Seller is not responsible for the consequences of the Buyer’s registration data falling into the hands of third parties due to the Buyer’s fault.
2.3. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the data they provide. The Seller is not responsible for the consequences of the Buyer providing inaccurate data.
2.4. The Buyer undertakes to update their personal data on the websites kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu if the data provided during registration is no longer valid. The Seller is not responsible for consequences arising from outdated or inaccurate data provided by the Buyer.
2.5. In the event of an attempt by the Buyer, through their actions or inactions, to sabotage or disrupt the operation of the online stores kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu, or otherwise negatively affect them, the Seller has the right to immediately and without warning restrict or terminate the client’s access to the site and refuse to serve them in the future.
3. Product Availability, Price, and Information Accuracy
3.1. All prices on kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu include VAT.
3.2. The Seller is not responsible for the accuracy of product descriptions and photographs. This information is provided by suppliers and/or manufacturers, and the Seller is unable to verify this information in each individual case. Information about prices and products on kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu may change. Changes come into effect at the moment of their publication on the websites kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu.
3.3. The availability and price of goods on kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu may change. Changes come into effect from the moment of their publication on the websites kniga24.ee, bookvoed.ee, bookvoed.eu.
3.4. When placing an order, please note whether a processing fee has been added to a specific order of goods. The Seller reserves the right to apply a processing fee to any product and/or order. If a processing fee is applied to a specific product, the fee will be displayed separately when making the purchase.
4. Placing an Order
4.1. To add an item to your Cart, use the “Add to Cart” button next to the item name, just like in a regular store.
4.2. When you are ready to place an order, go to the Cart and check the items you have selected, verifying their quantity to avoid errors. If necessary, you can change the quantity of each item or remove it directly from the cart. You can also save an item for later purchase if you are not ready or do not wish to buy it right now. Below the cart, you can see a list of previously saved items, each of which you can add to the cart at any time and place an order for them.
4.3. Pay attention to the availability of the product on the product card, or when confirming the order in the Cart: the product can be “in stock” or “on order”. Products with the “on order” status require additional delivery time. If such products are in your order together with products with the “in stock” status, the entire order shipment will be delayed until the “on order” product is delivered. Therefore, we recommend placing separate orders for “in stock” products and “on order” products. We also do not have the ability to add a product to an order you have already created, or to move products between multiple orders.
4.4. When placing your first order, you need to log in to the site: use your existing account details on the websites www.kniga24.ee, www/bookvoed.ee, www.bookvoed.eu, or register on the websites www.kniga24.ee, www/bookvoed.ee, www.bookvoed.eu. For subsequent orders, you will be prompted to choose one of the delivery methods. We offer order delivery to pickup points – INFORING MEDIA OÜ offices, SmartPost or OMNIVA parcel lockers. At the order confirmation stage, you can choose various delivery methods available in your city.
4.5. If the book you are interested in is temporarily out of stock at www.kniga24.ee, www/bookvoed.ee, www.bookvoed.eu, you can sign up for a notification of its arrival.
4.6. The online book mega-market www.kniga24.ee, www/bookvoed.ee, www.bookvoed.eu implements a dynamic pricing system, which depends on many factors and is technical in nature. The price of a product may vary at different times depending on market supply, product availability from suppliers, and other criteria. Therefore, prices can change throughout the day in both directions – down and up.
5. Payment Methods
5.1. Bank link Swedbank, SEB Pank. Upon order confirmation, an invoice will be displayed on the screen. To pay via bank link, you need to click on the corresponding icon. After payment on the bank’s page, you must click the “return to seller” button. Only then will your order be correctly reflected in our order database. After payment, you will receive payment confirmation and an invoice to your email address. If the client has not received notification of money receipt within one hour after the transfer, please contact info@bookvoed.ee.
When an invoice is issued to the client, it contains all the necessary details and taxes.
If the money has not been credited to the supplier’s account within 3 working days, the order will be cancelled.
6. Product Delivery
6.1. The delivery time of an order depends on the actual location of the goods in the warehouse and the delivery address. Order fulfillment at the INFORING MEDIA OÜ warehouse in Estonia, if all ordered goods are available from the partner, takes an average of one week from the moment of payment. After that, the order is transferred from the warehouse to the delivery service. Delivery of an order from the INFORING MEDIA OÜ warehouse across Estonia to SmartPost or OMNIVA parcel lockers takes the time specified on the websites of these organizations, an average of 1 – 3 days.
6.2. Delivery of goods to order pickup points takes 8-15 days from the moment of order payment. You will receive a notification to your email from us or from SmartPost and OMNIVA, depending on the chosen pickup point, that your order is already waiting for you at the pickup point.
6.3. At INFORING MEDIA OÜ offices, parcels can be picked up on working days, from 10:00 to 16:00, after receiving notification of goods delivery to the office warehouse and upon presentation of the payment invoice.
6.4. The delivery time and product availability are indicated for the first item of the product. If the required quantity of goods is not in stock (several copies of the same product), the order will be shipped immediately upon receipt of the missing quantity of goods at the warehouse from suppliers. Pay attention to the availability of the product on the product card, or when confirming the order in the Cart: the product can have the status “in stock” or “on order”. Products with the “on order” status require additional delivery time. If such products are in your order together with products with the “in stock” status, the entire order shipment will be delayed until the “on order” product is delivered. Therefore, we recommend placing separate orders for “in stock” products and “on order” products.
6.5. The Seller is not responsible for possible delays in product delivery and for damages arising therefrom.
7. Conclusion of the Agreement
7.1. The sales agreement between the Buyer and the Seller is considered concluded from the moment the Buyer makes the first payment for the goods to the Seller’s bank account.
8. Refusal of Purchase and Return of Goods
8.1. In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Estonia, a private individual consumer has the right to withdraw from the sales agreement within 14 days from the moment of receiving the goods.
8.2. Only unused goods are subject to return. The goods must be in their original packaging, and all factory labels must be preserved on them. The packaging may only be opened if it would otherwise be impossible to inspect the goods.
8.3. Withdrawal from the sales agreement is not possible in the case of purchasing goods made taking into account the Buyer’s personal characteristics or special needs, in the case of purchasing audio and video recordings if the packaging has been opened and/or if the product has been activated, as well as in the case of purchasing newspapers, magazines, and other periodicals.
8.4. If the Buyer wishes to withdraw from the sales agreement, they undertake to immediately (within 14 calendar days from the moment of receiving the goods) notify the Seller of their wish by email to info@bookvoed.ee, attaching a photo of the goods or packaging to the letter. The Seller reserves the right to request additional photos of the goods to be returned.
8.5. The Buyer agrees to bear the costs associated with returning the goods, except in cases where the goods delivered to the Buyer do not correspond to the ordered ones.
8.6. In case of withdrawal from the agreement, the goods must be returned to the Seller immediately (within 30 calendar days).
8.7. In case of return of goods, the Seller provides the Buyer with the opportunity to exchange the goods for another product with a price recalculation.
8.8. If the Buyer does not wish to exchange the goods, the Seller undertakes to transfer the amount paid for the goods back to the Buyer’s bank account within 30 days. Money is returned only to the bank account from which the Buyer made the payment for the goods.
8.9. The Buyer accepts the possibility that in case of abuse of the right to withdraw from the sales agreement, the Seller has the right to refuse to serve the Buyer.
9. Cookies
9.1. Cookies are used for the purpose of forming the store’s cart (fulfilling the main purpose of the site) and tracking site traffic. To access the online store’s website, the Client must register. When ordering, the Client may be asked to provide personal data (name, email address, phone, etc.). The Company has the right, at its discretion, without violating the law, to use the data that the Client provided during registration or in another form.
9.2. Data Subject consent is required if cookies are used on the online store’s website to form the Buyer’s selected goods cart, etc.
9.3. No personal data is stored using cookies.
9.4. During recording and integration of necessary settings, no information is provided to any third party.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1. Disputes arising between the Buyer and the Seller are resolved through negotiations. If the Buyer and the Seller are unable to resolve the disputes, the parties have the right to appeal to the Consumer Protection Department or to court. When resolving disputes, the laws in force in the Republic of Estonia apply.
10.2. All goods are located in a foreign warehouse and the estimated delivery dates are approximate.
