These terms regulate the relationship between Inforing Media OÜ (registration code 10013660, hereinafter — Administrator) and the user of the website kniga24.ee (hereinafter — User).
1. Copyright and Use of Materials
1.1. All content on the website (articles, photos, design, product descriptions) is protected by Estonian Copyright Law.
1.2. Quoting (referencing): Permitted in the scope of a title and one sentence (no longer than the original’s introduction). An active hyperlink to the original is mandatory with the text: “Read the full article on kniga24.ee”.
1.3. Prohibitions: Full copying, automated downloading (parsing), and commercial use of materials without the Administrator’s written consent (requests to smirnov@inforing.net) are prohibited.
1.4. Penalty: For copyright infringement, the Administrator has the right to demand compensation: 200 € for a single violation and 320 € for each subsequent one (plus VAT).
2. Service Availability and Responsibility
2.1. The Administrator strives for uninterrupted website operation but does not guarantee its 24/7 availability.
2.2. We are not responsible for temporary technical failures not caused by our fault. Technical interruptions are not a basis for refunds, except in cases of intentional access blocking by the Administrator.
2.3. Purchases of digital editions via App Store or Google Play are governed by the terms of the respective platforms.
3. Commenting Rules and User Content
3.1. Only identified users (ID card, Mobiil-ID, or verified account) are allowed to comment.
3.2. Moderation: The Administrator removes comments containing profanity, incitement to hatred, calls for violence, or defamation.
3.3. Rights: By publishing a comment or opinion, the author gratuitously transfers to the Administrator the right to publish it in Inforing Media publications.
3.4. The author is responsible for the content of their comment.
4. Personal Data Processing Policy (GDPR)
4.1. What data do we collect?
- Identification: Name, personal code (upon authentication).
- Contact: Phone, e-mail, delivery address.
- Payment: Bank account details (via secure bank links, we do not see PIN codes).
- Technical: IP address, cookies (for statistics and personalization).
4.2. Processing Purposes
We use your data only for:
- Contract fulfillment: Book delivery, invoicing, customer support.
- Legitimate interest: Direct marketing (if you are already our client), protection of rights in court.
- Consent: Newsletter distribution and participation in giveaways.
4.3. Data Transfer to Third Parties
Your data may be transferred to:
- Postal services (Omniva, Itella, etc.) — solely for product delivery.
- Authorized processors (IT support, servers).
- State authorities — exclusively upon legal request (court, police).
4.4. Storage Period
4.4.1. Accounting documents: 7 years after the end of the financial year.
4.4.2. Contractual data: 10 years after the termination of the Agreement (statute of limitations for debt).
4.4.3. Cookie data: according to your browser settings and cookie policy.
5. User Rights
5.1. Access: You have the right to request a copy of your data.
5.2. Rectification: You can request the correction of incorrect data.
5.3. Erasure: You have the “right to be forgotten” if the data is no longer needed for contractual or legal purposes.
5.4. Objection: You can prohibit the use of data for marketing.
