The collection of scholarly works is a logical continuation of four previous collections in the “black series” of the Institute of System-Strategic Analysis: «De Conspiratione / On Conspiracy» (Moscow, 2013), «De Aenigmate / On Mystery» (Moscow, 2015), «De Secreto / On Secret» (Moscow, 2016), «De Personis / On Personalities» (Moscow, 2018, 2 vols). The present collection is devoted to the history of the countries of East and South-East Asia in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The problems of power, economy, ruling elites, middle strata, secret services and criminal communities are considered.
